Abstract

The carcinoma of the oesophagus is the malignant tumor of the oesophagus1,2,3. It is a fatal disease.
Combination therapy offers improved survival rate to some extent. Early diagnosis is rewarded by decreased operative mortality, relief of symptom and higher 5 year survival rate following curative surgery.
