Abstract

P URPOSE: Fracture of penis is a rare urological emergency and has been reported infrequently. By this study
we want to demonstrate the proper and early surgical management of this condition as to reduce the complications.MATERIAL & METHODS: Between March 1993 to Dec 2000, 20 patients underwent an emergency operationabout 1-36 hours after penile fracture. RESULTS: Functional results were excellent in all patients. CONCLUSION:To avoid serious complications, immediate surgical intervention is recommended.
