Abstract

Definition and terminology used in pre eclampsia
are still not universally agreed.
Followings definitions are generally used in clinical
practice;
"Pre eclampsia: defined as onset of hypertension
with proteinuria or,oedema or both at more than 20
week of gestation"
"Eclampsia; defined as occurrence of seizures in a
patient with pre eclampsia"
