Abstract

We present the case of a 35-year old male who reported with
history of cobra snakebite on the nape of his neck. He developed respiratory failure within hours. He was
treated successfully with respiratory support, anti-venom administration and anticholinesterase. Detailed in this
report is the reversal of envenomation symptoms following the administration of anticholinestrase, neostigmine
methyl sulfate.
